As a nursery that grows 80% of what they sell to the public Mark & Linda needed a hybrid structure where they could both grow and hold plants in a saleable condition.
The Rovero 800TR Fix was the solution. The strong stanchions & trellis kept the house strong where the eaves height was in excess of 6m, whilst the 4m wide roof hoops kept the overall height reasonable.
The addition of one bay fully nett clad provided a very well ventilated area to hold plants for longer periods without them getting blown everywhere.
By maintaining the stock in better condition this house started saving them money from day one.
Based in the Scottish borders Milestone needed a canopy for their outdoor plant sales area – the weather up there can be inclement in the winter.
The Rovero Roll Air was the answer – a strong and adaptable sub structure, with the fully opening roofs for temperature and humidity control.
Building alongside existing buildings and incorporating a Kingspan clad roof section at the rear for dry sales was a particular challenge - but thanks to an imaginative client and an enthusiastic building crew the end result was a triumph!
The wide post centres achievable with the roll air system make for great retail environment inside.
Being near the North sea Dunbar needed a strong structure for their outdoor plant sales area that protected plants and clients from the wind & rain.
The Rovero roll air does exactly that – and when the sun shines the roof opens up to keep the clients cool.
We added an additional bay onto a very small roll air house in the alpines nursery area where the rare alpine plants are kept & nurtured.
This client wanted a roof canopy for their outdoor plants sales area – and that’s exactly what the Rovero Roll Air does. In an amazing way!
Highfield had a selection of old polytunnels on their plants sales area – low buildings with a forest of tubular uprights.
They took the plunge to replace the whole lot with a Rovero Roll Air covering their entire plant sales area.
We made a special greenhouse for them which has only 12 stanchions within the 3,250sqm house – an amazing environment for them to retail from.
It’s been a big success with sales of their plants up in excess of 20%
Part of the Barton Grange Group, the Flower Bowl is a new leisure centre incorporating a variety of attractions including a crazy golf course.
We built a Rovero Roll Air over the course and this is the perfect house for this purpose.
The roof is open when the weather’s fine, but can close when the weather’s bad so punters can keep playing their round.
Hitched to a climate computer the roofs even open at night if it rains!!

Pennells had an open outdoor plant sales area and cHose the Rovero Roll Air to cover it.
The opening roofs keep everyone happy when it gets hot
SNRG undertook to train and supervise a local Thai building crew to construct a huge Rovero Roll Air in a remote corner of northern Thailand.
Incorporating push-pull screening and insect netting this was a high specification project and took many months to complete.
What an experience! And what a greenhouse!
Annaveigh wanted a tall polytunnel with good ventilation to grow their small trees. The multi Rovero 800TU with single top move ridge ventilation fitted the bill.
Combined with tall side curtain ventilation they have a house with good air volume where they can control the environment.
(and there’s room to add another bay on the side too!
